LPKF has been active in laser material processing for many years, with high-performance systems for industrial production. Quality assurance of joints

Transmission testers are used to ensure the quality of joints. LPKF supplies these test devices for quick and easy control of the optical transmission for the wavelength of the laser. The transmission properties are vital for the quality of the joint - consistent, tested material properties are a prerequisite for a reliable result when joining plastics.

Material qualification with the LPKF transmission measuring device

The LPKF TMG 3 conducts the component test independently and directly inside the welding system. It illuminates an inserted component with the same laser wavelength that is also used in the welding process. The transmission parameters are quickly set and can be compared with the original values.
